Wow such helpful and useful items to have when traveling with some children. We haven’t traveled yet (3 & 5) but these are great things to know for when the time comes

This is an awesome list! As my girls have gotten older the amount of “gear” needed for travel has decreased, thank God 🙂 But I can say that I have owned many of these items on your list at one time while my girls were younger!

Yes. I love the fact that as they get older the amount of gear I carry around has definitely reduced.

This is an awesome list! I swear by those packing cubes! We will be traveling later this year and I need to get my son a new backpack! Thanks!

Great guide. I thought about getting the mifold for an upcoming trip. I am not sure how safe it is. My daughter uses her amazon fire tablet all of the time.

If your daughter meets the weight requirements then dedinitelt try out the mifold. We’ve only used it in Europe for short rides and recently in Japan again for a shirt can ride. Every other time we use public transportation like trains and buses so there has not been a need for a car seat. Within the US though we always take a car seat.

I need to get travel pillows for my littles. They always end up bent in half or flopped over on a flight, and it looks so uncomfortable!

We have the First Class Leg Rest pillow and that is the one thing I will never travel without. We flew to Jaoan with 2 4yr olds and they slept the entire way back home. Japan to the US as it was a night flight.

My kids have their own luggage which they now pack themselves. Your list is on point. I wish some of this stuff existed when my kids were younger.

I had such a hard time finding appropriate travel gear for my son when he was much younger. Sometimes you just don’t know where to start. I’ll be sharing this! BTW that little guy is so handsome!

I’m sure the parents out there will appreciate this post. I already know that whenever my time comes I’m going to have a lot of purchases to make. I wish I had luggage scooter when I was younger.

    • August 4, 2017 / 7:46 pm

I know, tell me about it. I tried to ride my sons scooter luggage but it was too small obviously lol

I haven’t gotten my kids their own luggage. If they aren’t going for a long time then they use backpacks. If we are traveling together we just share suitcases. They do have their own electronic/fun bags.

    • August 4, 2017 / 7:48 pm

We share if we are gone for a day or 2, but we travel for weeks at a time and we each need to check in our own bags because of all the stuff we travel with.
